Somersfield’s girls football team earned a confident 3–1 win at Victor Scott. After a tentative start, the team found their rhythm, shared goalkeeping duties, and took control of the match. Strong teamwork, growing confidence, and solid coaching made for an impressive performance.

Somersfield Strikes First in League Campaign With Victory Over BHS
The Somersfield Primary Girls kicked off their league season with a hard-fought 1–0 win over BHS on home turf. Myla Desjardins sealed the victory with a brilliant free-kick goal, while debut goalkeeper Madison Ramsay impressed in defence. A fantastic start filled with teamwork, confidence, and spirit!

Ten Somersfield Primary girls took on the BSSF 7-a-side football tournament. After three group-stage wins and a thrilling quarterfinal penalty shootout, they fought hard in the semifinals. The team showed impressive teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Primary Pickleball a Smashing Success for Somersfield!
Somersfield’s Primary Pickleball team served up success at the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium! Ten P5 and P6 students showed skill, sportsmanship, and heart, earning top finishes and boosting team spirit. Fresh off CAT tests, they rallied with pride—smashing expectations on and off the court!

The Somersfield Primary Interschool Cross Country Team competed against other primary schools at the Flora Duffy National Stadium. The races began on the stadium track, continued across the road and around the Arboretum, and concluded back on the track in front of the grandstands.-

Our P5 students explored the power of design in their Innovations class by recreating book covers using Canva! As part of their unit on media creation, they learned how to combine text and images effectively to communicate ideas. At Somersfield, we see technology as more than just a tool—it is a catalyst for creativity, learning, and global citizenship.
Sharks Triumph in Thrilling Match!
In a thrilling match on a wet Somersfield field, our primary girls football team defeated Harrington Sound after a 2-2 tie led to penalties. Eva Desjardins excelled as goalkeeper, with key goals from Davi Wade, Aela Fraser, Bella Dill & Eva herself. Our Primary Girls Sharks now advance to face BHS on Monday, December 2!
