Dennis Fagundo, Chairman
Dennis is Joint Managing Director of D&J Construction Co. Ltd. He is a second-generation construction professional and previous President of the Chamber of Commerce. With more than 20 years in the construction industry, Dennis has developed deep expertise in business development, negotiation, government relations, information technology, contract issues, and equipment. He has a certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors and runs a successful in-house mentoring program. He joined the board in 2013.

Jamie Fraser, Treasurer
Jamie is the Chief Accounting Officer at Renaissance Re Holdings Ltd. He brings over 20 years of experience from the financial services industry. Jamie’s career reflects a demonstrated track record in management and oversight of forecasting, planning and analysis activities across the company, financial reporting and controls, tax reporting and compliance. As a chartered professional accountant (CPA Canada), Jamie is a member of the Finance Committee. He joined the board in 2019.

Daina Casling
Daina Casling is Partner and General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Aeolus Capital Management Ltd. She has over 20 years in the legal industry and brings experience in legal compliance, strategy and solutions, policy and procedure, and financial risk. She also serves on boards for the Chamber of Commerce and Bermuda Government Immigration. Daina believes that the “Somersfield Magic” is firmly attributed to its special teachers and sense of community. She joined the board in 2022.

Myles Darrell
The Head of Natural heritage at the Bermuda National Trust, Myles is a horticultural enthusiast and environmentalist with a commitment to environmental protection and conservation, and the traditions of agriculture, gardening, and growth. Most recently his primary focus has been on the preservation and protection of Bermuda's native and endemic flora, including advocacy for the unique habitats that make Bermuda special. He was voted a Bermudian of the Year in 2023 and Best of Bermuda “Booster for the environment” for these works and his dedication to the community. Myles' BSc degree in biology had a strong focus on co-constructed, contextualised environmental science learning, and was followed by a graduate diploma of teaching secondary science from Waikato University in New Zealand. He joined the board in 2024.

Lisa Fontanetta
Lisa is currently the Chief of Staff at Mosaic Insurance and a senior strategy officer in the Insurance Industry. Having launched two successful startup insurance companies from the ground up, Lisa brings a wealth of experience in topics of acquisitions, capital management, rating agency management, and strategic growth. Lisa received the Business Insurance Women to Watch Award and was named one of Insurance Business Magazine’s Elite Women in 2016. She is currently the Chair of the Development Committee at Somersfield and regularly volunteers for Keep Bermuda Beautiful and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. She joined the board in 2021.

Mary Forrest
Mary is the President and CEO, North America (Life and Health) for Munich Re. She oversees a business with premiums under management of approximately $4Bn and 1,400 employees. Under her leadership, Munich Re has become the largest mortality risk taker in the Canadian market and a market leader in the United States. Mary is an experienced and well-known member of the reinsurance community and in her role at Munich Re she has held board positions (past and present) including Chair of the Board for Munich Re, Bermuda, Chair of the Munich American Reinsurance Company Board, Director of the Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada, and Director of Temple Insurance Company. She has served as Chair of the Board of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA). She joined the board in 2023.

Adrian L. Hartnett-Beasley (he/him/his)
Adrian is Head of Legal – Bermuda at AIG. He has cultivated nearly 20 years of experience within the reinsurance, investments/treasury, and charity sectors and brings valuable perspectives to the Somersfield community. He is a religious Bermudian gay dad who loves to challenge the status quo and is actively involved in Bermuda’s charity and diversity/equity/inclusion space. Adrian’s favourite jobs are husband to Shane and Papa to their son Grayson. He joined the board in 2023.

Murricea Iris
Murricea is a Senior Officer of Policy Development, Strategy, and International Affairs at the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, including wealth management, investment compliance, and financial regulation. She served as the Diversity Representative on the Somersfield Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) for two years before becoming Chair for an additional two years. Passionate about diversity and education, Murricea volunteers her time on several local committees. One of her proudest achievements is leading by example and watching her daughter grow into a socially conscious, independent thinker. She joined the board in 2024.

Dr Darrien Ray
Dr Darrien S. Ray is a registered Bermudian clinical psychologist who has provided over a decade of mental health services to Bermudian families. He is a Director at Milestones LTD, where he practices as a private psychologist and offers therapy and psychological testing services to children and adults. He is also the Assessment Director at The Reading Clinic, providing guidance and psychological testing services for children who learn differently, especially in reading and mathematics. Dr Ray is a proud father of two wonderful boys and loves spending time with them, building Legos and exploring their backyard. He is excited to offer his insights on mental health and social well-being to the Somersfield community. Dr Ray joined the board in 2024.
