Students Address Real-World Issues at Personal Project Exhibition 2026
Somersfield Academy’s M5 students will present the culmination of their International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) learning at the annual Personal Project Exhibition, held in the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium. The exhibition celebrates independent inquiry, creativity, and sustained commitment and forms a key component of Bermuda’s only IB MYP programme. Somersfield welcomes students from other schools to attend and experience the exhibition.

Finding Connection Through Graphic Novels: DP1 MAUS Learning Experience
Through MAUS, students moved beyond history into human stories of family, trauma, and survival. Thoughtful discussions led to creative projects such as comics, maps, and newspapers that connected past and present, deepened empathy, and honoured voices and memories that must never be forgotten.
