Finding Connection Through Graphic Novels: DP1 MAUS Learning Experience
Through MAUS, students moved beyond history into human stories of family, trauma, and survival. Thoughtful discussions led to creative projects such as comics, maps, and newspapers that connected past and present, deepened empathy, and honoured voices and memories that must never be forgotten.

East vs West netball All Stars delivered a high-quality contest at Berkeley Institute. Strong performances from Somersfield players across Middle and Senior School, with sharp shooting, smart linking play, and resilient defence on display in two closely fought matches.
Somersfield Traditions: Primary Eco-Shopping Day
Each December, the halls of Somersfield buzz with excitement as one of our most beloved traditions returns: Eco-Shopping. Designed especially for our Primary students, Eco-Shopping invites children to browse and purchase gently used toys, books, and games—each item generously donated by members of our school community.
Penalty Shoot-Out Seals Knockout Cup for U13 Boys
The U13 boys defended their Knockout Cup title in a dramatic final, overturning a 2–0 deficit before winning on penalties. A second-half comeback, a hat-trick to level the match, and nerves of steel in the shoot-out sealed back-to-back championships.
