Riki Teteina brings a thorough knowledge and broad perspective of educational developments, particularly about international education and an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. His experience ranges from school leadership positions in New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, and London, as well as significant IB expertise with excellent knowledge of the IB continuum programmes PYP, MYP, and Diploma.

Janice has been a member of the Somersfield Senior Leadership Team since 2013. She holds degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Education, and also holds a Harvard certificate in School Management and Leadership. She is a certified Montessori teacher (3-6) with over 25 years in education. Janice is the current Treasurer of the National Educators Institute in Bermuda. She is passionate about forming relationships with students and enriching their school experiences.

Roger Marshall is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Somersfield Academy. He obtained a CPA and worked five years for the Auditor General. With over 20 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, he brings a critical eye to our annual reporting. As Head of Facilities, his passion lies with providing students and staff with the best place to learn. He is looking forward to providing the school with a new structure to support the strategic vision.

Charlie Judd, an esteemed educator, serves as the Head of Secondary at Somersfield Academy in beautiful Bermuda. With a passion for fostering academic excellence and character development, Charlie brings years of experience in educational leadership. Known for promoting a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, Charlie is dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential. Their visionary leadership continues to shape the educational landscape at Somersfield Academy.

Tanisha Edwards brings nearly 30 years of educational experience to her role as Somersfield Academy’s new Director of Student Life. Tanisha oversees learning and behaviour support, scholarship programmes, and personal development initiatives. Her qualifications include a BA in Elementary Education and Middle School Social Studies, an MA in Organisational Management, and a diploma in Montessori Education.
