Supporting the Somersfield Annual Fund

The Somersfield Fund is our school's primary annual giving initiative, designed to bridge the gap between tuition income and the full cost of providing a top-tier educational experience. It offers essential, unrestricted support to our operating budget, directly impacting students, faculty, and programs each day. Contributions to the fund help sustain and enhance our academic, arts, and athletic offerings, while also enabling us to respond to new opportunities and challenges. In essence, the Somersfield Fund fuels our school’s continued growth and success, making it possible for us to achieve excellence in all we do.

Did You Know?

Tuition only covers the essential operational costs of running Somersfield Academy, such as salaries, facility maintenance, and day-to-day operations. Advancement and growth, however, come from philanthropy. At Somersfield, as with most independent schools, tuition typically covers about 80% of the total costs. To fill the remaining 20%—and to advance our academic, athletic, and arts programs—we rely on generous donations from our community of parents, alumni, and friends. These contributions allow us to offer more robust programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and unique learning experiences that set our school apart.
