Somersfield Netball Success on the Road
Somersfield’s U16 and O16 netball teams earned strong League wins at Saltus, showing resilience in tough conditions. Diya and Naomi were named MVPs for standout performances. Congratulations to the players, and thanks to Alumni Shi-Vaughn Lee for coaching support.
Sharks Clinch Double Victory in Thrilling Matches Against BHS
The Somersfield Sharks delivered an exciting double win against BHS yesterday! Both the Under 13 and Over 13 teams battled fiercely, with nail-biting finishes of 6–5 and 12–11. MVPs Evelyn and Aniah, along with standout players Jeanne and Kate, shone in a display of teamwork and determination.
Under 13 and Over 13 Netball Teams Claim Victory Against Dellwood
The Somersfield Sharks dominated both matches against Dellwood Middle School today! The Under 13 team won 6–2, with Davi as MVP, while the Over 13s claimed an 18–7 victory, led by MVPs Anya-Aeleishe and Cali. Special praise to Evelyn for her last-quarter shooting brilliance!
Primary Boys A 6-a-Side Football Tournament at Shelly Bay Field
Somersfield’s Primary Boys A team brought energy, teamwork and determination to the BSSF 6-a-Side Tournament at Shelly Bay. With strong wins, standout goals and a thrilling penalty shootout, they battled their way to the semifinals. A proud performance and a great day of football.
Sharks Swim to Success at the Middle and Senior School Swim Meet
Our middle and senior school swim teams had a great day at the BSSF meet, bringing home 20 medals. Students showed strong teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit throughout the day. Thank you to the parents who helped make the event run smoothly.
