Under 13 and Over 13 Netball Teams Claim Victory Against Dellwood
The Somersfield Sharks triumphed in both their matches against Dellwood Middle School this afternoon!
The Under 13 team played first and the girls were consistent in their approach, both in defense and attacking positions. They were able to prevent Dellwood from scoring until the 3rd quarter but still maintained their lead, winning the game 6 points to 2.
The Over 13 team blasted into the 2nd match and displayed formidable strength throughout. The girls conceded very few points in each quarter and through excellent defending and shooting, they were able to extend their lead even further in the last quarter. The final result was an impressive 18 points to 7.
For the Under 13 game, the MVP was given to Davi for her fantastic plays in any position on the court.
The Over 13 MVPs were Anya-Aeleishe and Cali for their ability to score under pressure. Special mention should also be made of Evelyn, whose shooting skills in the last quarter helped to widen our points to an impressive victory.
