M1 & M2’s Pop Art with a Bermudian Twist
Thirteen M1 & M2 students brought pop art to Pitt’s Bay Road in the School Mural Contest, reimagining Bermudian icons with Warhol-inspired flair. Their mural blended soft pastels, bold kites & printmaking techniques—earning Third Place and $2,000 in arts funding.

Somersfield Students Sing for World Asthma Day
Somersfield Academy student vocalists took to the steps of City Hall on 6 May 2025 to perform in honour of World Asthma Day, hosted by Open Airways. DP1 Students Explore Energy Innovation at BELCO
DP1 Business students had an incredible experience at BELCO on during Occupational Health & Safety Day. Students were treated to a seminar led by Dr. Jeffrey Steynor on renewable energy and BELCO’s transition to sustainability. A restricted bus tour offered insight into production methods, cost structures, and safety protocols. The Montessori Approach to The Language Arts: Parts of Speech and Sentence Analysis
The Montessori programme incorporates a hands on approach to learning the nine parts of speech through the use of verbal activities, grammar symbols, grammar boxes, command cards and analysis of sentences.
