The Montessori Approach to History Education
The Montessori history curriculum begins not just with events and dates, but with an exploration of time itself. This foundational understanding includes practical lessons on telling time, mastering the calendar, and comprehending the past, present, and future tenses—a skill set that seamlessly integrates with their language development.

Somersfield Shines at Primary Tennis Tournament!
On 12 June, our Primary Tennis Team brought energy, skill & sportsmanship to the National Tennis Stadium. From fun challenges to a thrilling all-Somersfield final, they impressed at every turn. Congrats to all players!

Secondary Summer Reading 2025
The school year’s almost over, but the adventure continues! This summer, M3+ will dive into Flowers in the Gutter—a gripping true story—before meeting author K.R. Gaddy in September. All M1+ get to pick an additional book Teacher Book Clubs.

Scholar Highlight: Kritik Rangta
Introducing Kritik Rangta, an M3 student at Whitney Institute Middle School and this year’s recipient of Somersfield Academy’s Equity & Merit Scholarship. Kritik’s academic journey began at Bermuda Montessori School.
