Somersfield Raises Over $30,000 for Charity
In March, Somersfield Academy community banded together to raise over $30,000 for various charities through participating in community and student-led fundraisers. We were thrilled to see the strength of our community borne out, with our student-led enthusiasm spilling over to the rest of Bermuda and the world.
Design is Everywhere: Kairo Morton ‘20
Somersfield Academy welcomed back to campus, Kairo Morton ‘20 for a presentation to the M4 student design class on his journey from Devonshire, Bermuda to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Milo Morrison is Fashion Forward
Milo Morrison chose logo design as his personal project because, he says “I enjoy creating fashion and I also like the fact that I can create any design I want.” He not only designed the logos using design platforms, but he also printed them onto clothing.

Speech by Zarah Saddiqi Addresses State of Turkey and Syria
On International Day 2023, Zarah Siddiqi (M4) addressed students, parents and teachers about the state of Turkey and Syria after many earthquakes have left it devastated. A student led fundraiser this week includes a grub day and bake sale to raise money for the cause.
Driven to Overcome Dyslexia
As a dyslexic herself, Hanna Taylor feels very strongly about the fact that dyslexics need more help both in and out of school. For her personal project therefore, she used her knowledge and experience to create tools to help younger dyslexics.
