Open conversations, honest answers, and validation of their feelings can help them process the event. Emphasising safety, empathy, and making positive choices supports their well-being. Town Hall on Adolescent Mental Health: A Vital Conversation
We’re hosting a Town Hall on adolescent mental health, titled “Where to from here? Data-driven recommendations for youth mental health,” this event aims to tackle the pressing issues facing Bermuda's youth with the help of a distinguished panel of experts.
Tyler Smith To Present Awards At Run Event
Olympian and Somersfield alumnus Tyler Smith will present awards at the 2024 Somersfield Fun Run and Walk, a community fitness event benefiting the school’s Bursary Fund.
Somersfield Academy Alumni Present Scholarship Award
Somersfield Academy alumni, through their Betta Dais network, presented their second scholarship funded by their annual golf fundraiser at St. Regis Golf Course in Bermuda. They raised $7,000 to support a bursary for Shiloh Stevens, a promising student, who has joined the school in 2024. Alumni, including Marquis and Jai Burgess, emphasise giving back and mentoring, highlighting the Somersfield's commitment to inspiring socially conscious, independent thinkers.
Caribou Mathematics Competitions
The Somersfield Mathematics department are delighted to announce the 2024-2025 Caribou Mathematics Competitions at Somersfield Academy. Caribou Mathematics is a Canadian based international educational platform that offers the opportunity for students, from P1 to DP2, to enter up to six online competitions each year.
