Class Parent Network – How Can You Help?

Last year, Somersfield introduced Secondary Class Parents. It was a new initiative designed to strengthen the bridge between families, students, and staff as our young people navigate the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

This pilot was a success! Our Secondary Class Parents supported communication, helped coordinate class activities, and provided a network for families as they navigated the demands of Secondary education. Their dedication echoed the valuable role our Primary Class Parents have long played in supporting educators, students, and families throughout the school year.

Thanks to our engaged parent population, almost every class now has a Class Parent. The energy, ideas, and support they bring have been invaluable. There are just a few roles still open:

• Primary: Turtles Class

• Secondary: M4 and DP1
