Remembering Reid Kempe: Annual Memorial Race Pays Tribute to a Multifaceted Bermudian Icon
The Reid Kempe Memorial Race stands as an annual tribute to a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on the Somersfield community. Edwin James “Reid” Kempe, a poet, musician, teacher, marketer, Olympic sailor, and boat restorer, passed away in August 2015 after a courageous six-month battle with cancer. Remembered not only for his diverse talents but also as a devoted family man survived by his wife Lucia and three children—Justin, Zoe, and Jonathan. Reid Kempe's legacy lives on through this poignant event.

CAS Project: Jasmin, Desmond, & Cameron
Three DP2 students, Jasmin Hasselkuss , Desmond Crockwell, and Cameron Simons have been working on their project that features community service and helpful initiatives, focusing on the local Christ Church. Their goal is to provide food for people in need and spread awareness throughout the community about the issue of hunger in Bermuda.

World Religions Day is extremely important because it encourages individuals to learn about different religions, engage in interfaith discussions and work towards a more harmonious and inclusive future.
