Nico Bean '26: Somersfield Student Blends Art and Education
Nico Bean '26 has partnered with The Stationery Store to release a new collection of custom notebooks for the back-to-school season. Nico, known for his acrylic pour technique and unique designs, created this collection to reflect personal style and inspire students. The notebooks are available in-store and online, and the collaboration showcases Nico's journey from student to successful entrepreneur.

Panelists Announced for Personal Project Expo 2024
Somersfield Academy is thrilled to announce the lineup of distinguished panelists who have committed to attending the upcoming Personal Project Expo on February 29, 6-9 PM, at Somersfield Academy.
Students tackle real-world challenges in personal projects
M5 students are “embracing the spirit of inquiry and innovation” as part of an annual event showcasing their personal projects. The projects include an investigation into eating disorders; recycling plastic into 3D printing filament; and the adaptation of a hydrogenerator into a water catchment system.
Milo Morrison is Fashion Forward
Milo Morrison chose logo design as his personal project because, he says “I enjoy creating fashion and I also like the fact that I can create any design I want.” He not only designed the logos using design platforms, but he also printed them onto clothing.
Fighting for What’s Right
Tyelle Phillips chose the topic of ‘Racial Discrimination and Police Brutality’ for his personal project not just because he has been personally impacted by these issues, but also because he wants to spread awareness throughout the school community:

Driven to Overcome Dyslexia
As a dyslexic herself, Hanna Taylor feels very strongly about the fact that dyslexics need more help both in and out of school. For her personal project therefore, she used her knowledge and experience to create tools to help younger dyslexics.
