In January, Somersfield Academy students dive into science fair preparations, tackling experiments from M1 through M3. Despite the stress, it's an exciting chance to explore personal interests with full topic freedom. The gym transforms into a showcase of colourful, detailed projects. Students present their work to judges and visitors, with awards for top projects and visual presentation. Science teachers, Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Younge, play a crucial role in this educational event. For my final fair, I investigated age and gender impacts on smell, winning 2nd place and a visual presentation award.
