Empowering Creativity: IB Aesthetic Performances in Dance & Gymnastics
In their aesthetics units, the girls explored dance and gymnastics, setting SMART goals to develop key skills. M1 & M3 focused on gymnastics, choreographing group performances, while M2 explored dance through improvisation & choreographic techniques. DP1 Students Explore Holocaust Survivors' Stories
In recognition of Holocaust Memorial Day on 27 January, Somersfield's DP1 English A: Language and Literature HL class studied the Holocaust through Art Spiegelman’s MAUS. They created projects portraying survivors’ stories, using creative mediums like newspapers, diaries, and maps, to explore the emotional impact of these experiences.

Honouring Bermudian Activists: Somersfield Students Celebrate MLK's Legacy
Somersfield Academy students Marc Rajeh '26, Zarah Siddiqi '26, Samantha Binega-Northcott '26, and Kiara Weeks-George '26, led by Ms. Tanisha Edwards, joined Bermuda’s MLK Day ceremony at City Hall. Honouring Dr. King’s legacy, their participation highlighted Somersfield’s commitment to justice and global citizenship.

Somersfield To Hold Personal Project Exhibition
Somersfield Academy’s M5 students will showcase their creativity at the Personal Project Exhibition on February 19 in the school gymnasium. The event will highlight diverse projects, from Bermuda’s flora and jewellery making to scuba diving and environmental conservation. Open to the community, it celebrates innovation, inquiry-based learning, and student achievement.
