Somersfield Academy Sharks competed in this week’s BSSF Cross Country at the Arboretum, with strong senior and middle school representation. Our athletes showed determination, teamwork and confidence, with several top finishes across age groups.
Penalty Shoot-Out Seals Knockout Cup for U13 Boys
The U13 boys defended their Knockout Cup title in a dramatic final, overturning a 2–0 deficit before winning on penalties. A second-half comeback, a hat-trick to level the match, and nerves of steel in the shoot-out sealed back-to-back championships.
P6 Boys Display Grit and Teamwork at Cricket Super 8’s
Our P6 boys showed grit & teamwork at the BSSF Cricket Super 8’s! With a win over Elliott, a tie vs West Pembroke & close match vs Purvis, they battled on in crossovers against St. George’s Prep & Saltus. Well played, boys! Thanks to Mr. Eusterhuysen, Ms. Winstanley & Mr. Wade!
