Primary Boys B Football Team Show Resilience & Growth in 6-a-Side Tournament
Our Primary Boys B football team battled tough conditions & strong competition in the final day of the 6-a-side tournament at Shelly Bay Field. With wins against Francis Patton & Dalton E. Tucker, they advanced to finish 4th overall. Special thanks to Coach Rychus for his dedicated support.
Primary Boys B and Girls East Central Zone Six-a-Side Tournament at BFA Field
Somersfield Academy’s Primary Boys B and Girls teams excelled in the East Central Zone Six-a-Side Tournament on 1st November, both earning spots in the finals. The Girls team triumphed in all three matches, while the Boys B team’s strong performance secured their place despite one loss. Special thanks to Coach Rychus for his inspiring leadership. Finals are at Shelly Bay: Girls on 6th Nov, Boys B on 13th Nov, and Boys A on 20th Nov.
BSSF Primary School Boys Hockey Tournament
All primary schools in Bermuda were invited to the NSC for a stickwork competition and round robin tournament, sponsored by the Bermuda Hockey Federation. Somersfield Green team excelled, going undefeated in Pool A against MSA, West Pembroke, Northlands, and Purvis, before winning the crossover game against Somersfield Blue.
Community Run in Honour of Former Teacher Reid Kempe
The Somersfield Academy community gathers annually for the Reid Kempe memorial run, honouring the beloved former teacher. Led by spirited house captains and teachers, students race a challenging 3-mile route, embodying the competitive yet supportive ethos Kempe instilled. Daughter Zoe, a dedicated participant, cherishes the event as a tribute to her father's legacy and his passion for running. Reflecting Kempe's influence, the run fosters camaraderie and positivity, resonating deeply with participants.

At the Primary Interschool Cross Country Meet, our runners battled fiercely against the wind and conquered daunting hills to secure commendable finishes. Their resilience and spirit embodied the essence of our Primary Cross Country Team. Cheers to their triumphant efforts and unwavering dedication!
