At the Primary Interschool Cross Country Meet, our runners battled fiercely against the wind and conquered daunting hills to secure commendable finishes. Somersfield athletes performed tremendously at the U13 and O13 Cross Country. Caelan Cabral led the U13 Boys to a solid 3rd place, while Gabby Cechini dominated the O13 Girls race with an impressive lead. A testament to dedication and skill, this event celebrated the spirit of youth athletics.

The Cechini twins, Gabriella and Joseph, excelled at the Bermuda School Sports Federation Middle School Cross-Country Championships. Representing Somersfield Academy, Gabriella won the over-13 girls title with a time of 12:02, while Joseph secured victory in the over-13 boys race with a time of 11:37. Despite facing tough competition, they persevered through the challenging course.
