Class of 2024: Saraya Hart

Class of 2024: Saraya Hart

Saraya is going to Oxford Brookes University to study Marketing and Events Management. She aspires to have her own event planning business. Saraya credits Somersfield with teaching her the importance of reflecting on her work and to ask herself, how can I improve this. She now embraces the concept of Kaizen, always seeking continuous improvement.

Class of 2024: Caiden Millett

Caiden is going to Acadia University to study Business Administration. He aspires to be a reinsurance broker. Caiden credits Somersfield Academy with providing him with good guidance and advice. In addition, he feels he has been encouraged to have good teamwork and communication skills and appreciates being able to establish good friendships.

Class of 2024: Jasmin Hasselkuss

Jasmin is going to the University of Amsterdam to study Business Administration. She aspires to work in the field of insurance/reinsurance. Jasmin credits the support she received with her essay writing, specifically her extended essay, with helping her feel prepared for university.

Class of 2024: Enrique Mendes

Enrique is going to Andrews Osborne Academy to play football. He aspires to become a professional football player and eventually run his own business. Enrique credits Somersfield Academy with preparing him for this new adventure he will be starting next year.

Class of 2024: Oscar Davis

Oscar is going to the University of Exeter to study Evolutionary Biology. He aspires to work in the field of evolutionary biology and will see where that takes him. Oscar credits Somersfield with giving him the necessary support he needed, especially in all aspects of writing long research papers such as his extended essay, with helping him feel prepared for university.

Class of 2024: Anayah Curtis

Anaya is going to Manchester Metropolitan University to study Product Design. She aspires to one day own her own design business. Anaya credits Somersfield Academy with preparing her for the challenges she will face in university.

Class of 2024: Satya Darrell

Satya is going to the University of Manchester to study Modern Language (French) and Business and Management. She will be spending Year 3 studying in a French-speaking country. Satya aspires to be a CEO in a capital investment company, specialising in stakeholder relations. She credits Somersfield as encouraging her to explore her interests and honing her skills. Satya feels that the calibre of work in the diploma programme has allowed her to apply critical thinking outside the classroom, preparing her for the future.

Class of 2024: Cameron Simons

Cameron is going to the University of Lancaster to study International Management. He aspires to work in the field of international business. Cameron credits the support from his teachers at Somersfield for helping him feel prepared for university.

Class of 2024: Peter Strachan

Peter is going to the University of Aberystwyth to study Business and Management. He aspires to have a career that he enjoys doing. Peter contributes his experience at Somersfield’s IB diploma programme as significantly improving his academic abilities and knowledge, which he feels has equipped him well for the future.

Class of 2024: Desmond Crockwell

Desmond is going to the Oxford Brookes University to study Business Management & Marketing. He aspires to work in business and marketing and one day own his own business. Desmond credits his teachers who have supported him throughout the process, which has helped him feel prepared for university.

Class of 2024: Naomi Every

Naomi is going to Sheridan College. She aspires to qualify as an Interior Designer and have her own interior design business. Naomi credits her rigorous experience going through the IB diploma programme as a major contributor to her growth, in particular, her extended essay has helped her feel prepared for university. In addition, Naomi’s personal project gave her the opportunity to do something that she loves and see that she can make a business out of it.

Class of 2024: Ryah Symonds

Ryah is going to the University of Liverpool to study Veterinary Science. She aspires to qualify as a veterinarian and work with exotic animals. Ryah credits all the homework and assignments she has done with helping her feel prepared for university. Ryah feels that she has received a very well-rounded experience at Somersfield Academy.

Class of 2024: Emma DeCouto

Emma is going to the University of Toronto to study Mathematical and Physical Sciences. She is exploring the possibility of either working in actuarial science or engineering. Emma credits Somersfield Academy with the small classes and special attention she received that really made a difference. Also, Emma appreciated that the teachers were open to staying afterschool and giving her additional help on short notice.
