Keep an Eye Out for Somersfield at the 84th Bermuda Annual Agricultural Exhibition!
The 84th Bermuda Annual Agricultural Exhibition—fondly known as The Exhibition or Ag Show—is back in full bloom from April 24th to 26th, 2025, at the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Paget. This much-loved tradition is a celebration of Bermuda’s agricultural roots and community creativity, and once again, Somersfield Academy is excited to be part of the action!
Each year, the Agricultural Exhibition draws thousands of visitors to explore an inspiring mix of livestock displays, gardening showcases, local culinary talent, and children’s educational exhibits. It’s a colourful and joyful event where Bermuda’s heritage shines—and where our students have the opportunity to share their talents with the broader community.
This year, Somersfield student entries are featured across several categories. Here are just some of the contributions to look out for:
The Snappers have been cultivating their green thumbs, submitting a beautiful array of plant entries that reflect their hands-on learning and love of nature.
Our three- and four-year-olds created 72 vibrant artworks inspired by the theme Good Friday in Bermuda, filled with colourful kites, beaches, and family traditions.
Primary One students from the Children’s House honoured a cherished cultural symbol with 46 imaginative entries on the theme Gombey.
P5H contributed a class entry: a whimsical Wishing Well that showcases both creativity and collaboration.
Nahla Ndiaye (Turtle class) will be in the Junior Showmanship: Poultry division.
M2 strings & M3 band musical performances.
The Ag Show is more than a display of talent—it’s a celebration of learning through creativity, nature, and community spirit. It offers our students a platform to express themselves, explore Bermudian culture, and take pride in contributing to one of the island’s most cherished events.
As you wander through the Botanical Gardens this week, be sure to keep an eye out for Somersfield’s contributions. We are proud of every student who took part, and we invite the entire community to come out and enjoy the magic of the Agricultural Exhibition.
