Annual Book Buddies Inspire Younger Readers During Readathon

We embarked on a literary adventure during our "Fortnight of Mystery Readathon," where the magic of reading came to life through the enchanting Book Buddies activity! This annual event brought together slightly older children in primary school with their younger counterparts, fostering a sense of camaraderie and a shared love for stories.

In this whimsical pairing, Marlins and Cedar Berries joined forces, creating a bond that transcended the pages of their chosen mystery tales. Meanwhile, the Coneys teamed up with P6 Franklin, unraveling thrilling narratives that kept them on the edge of their seats.

The Snappers found mystery-solving companions in P6 Strong, while the Green Turtles and Cardinals embarked on a literary journey that challenged their wits. Parrot Fish and Longtails dived into the depths of suspense together, forging connections as strong as the mysteries they encountered.

Under the sea of knowledge, Starfish and Honeybees explored captivating mysteries, while P5 Hay and Bluebirds took flight into the world of enigmatic plots. P5 Edwards and Kiskadees created a symphony of curiosity as they read side by side, discovering the joy of unraveling secrets together.

We celebrated the joy of reading and the power of shared stories during this Fortnight of Mystery Readathon, where Book Buddies made every chapter an unforgettable adventure!
