U13 & O13 Netball Teams Celebrate Wins Against Whitney Institute!
Under-13 Team:
A huge congratulations to our Under thirteen girls on their incredible win today against Whitney Institute. Today the girls played their hardest game so far this season. The girls faced a tough opponent and the game was neck and neck all the way up until the last quarter. The girls kept their heads high the whole game and fought for every point. This lead to them dominating the last quarter pulling ahead winning the game 10-8. Again a huge congratulations to the girls on their continued hard work and determination on the court.
All the girls played incredibly today but the MVPs of today’s game are Freida Valli ‘31, Aniah Tucker ‘30 and Evelyn Fahy ‘31. Freida is an incredible shooter, her technique is flawless and she rarely misses a shot. Additionally, her movement in the circle makes it easy for her teammates to pass it into her for her to take the shot. She also often makes many helpful interceptions in the shooting circle which give the team an amazing advantage. Aniah, is a great netball player and she is very versatile. She will play any position she is put in and will excel in that position. Her movement up and down the court is impeccable and she consistently makes effective passes. Furthermore, her defense is always tight and makes it hard for the opponent to receive the ball or make interceptions. Evelyn makes great movements up and down the court and makes incredibly effective passes. She is also a great defender and stops her opponent from getting many interceptions. On top of this she also make many great interceptions.
