Somersfield Prefects Chosen in Rigorous Process

October 23, 2008 — Somersfield Academy has recently appointed 10 prefects to take on wide range of responsibilities and leadership roles within the school. The prefects were chosen by merit through selection process that included personal interviews with teachers, Middle Years Division Head, Julia Watson, the school principal, Margaret Hallett, and the Montessori Division heads, Victoria Brewer and Gwen Faye.
In addition, the students were required to submit an essay along with a character reference as part of the prefect selection process.
