Sharks Show Grit in Hard-Fought Battle Against Whitney

February 28, 2025 — The Sharks suffered just their second loss of the year yesterday to a strong Whitney squad 21-11. After a tight 10-8 game at the half, Whitney pulled away in the second half to secure the victory in front of a sold-out home crowd.

So proud of the grit and determination from all, as it was the first time this year that all players wanted to play in the game! It was great to see our M1s show their growing confidence and risk-taking skills to step up and volunteer to compete with several missing older players. Love it!

For the Sharks, M1 Freida Valli and M3 Emily Paulos led the attack with four points each and strong defense and M2 Kate Pursell drained our team's first three pointer of the season. M2 Cali Greenridge hit the boards hard with 4 rebounds and some stellar defense as well.
