Primary Boys A Team Secures 3rd Place with Stellar Performance!

November 20, 2024 — The Primary Boys A football team had an outstanding day of football at the Shelly Bay field. The team kicked off the day with a strong performance against Francis Patton, securing a 3-1 victory. Goals came from Samuel Bernardino, Trevor Mills, and Maddox Seymour Durham. Next, the boys faced Saltus in a thrilling match that ended in a 2-2 draw. Both goals for Somersfield were scored by Samuel Bernardino.

In their third pool game, the team faced West End Primary and came out on top with a 1-0 win, thanks to another goal from Samuel Bernardino. These results propelled the team into the semi-finals, where they faced a tough Prospect Primary team. Both teams battled fiercely for ball possession, but in the end, Prospect claimed a narrow 3-2 victory. Somersfield’s goals were scored by Jeremy Ngaruiya and Samuel Bernardino.

Although disappointed, the boys regrouped for the 3rd and 4th place playoff, where they displayed resilience and determination. They dominated Saltus with a convincing 3-1 victory. Goals in this match were scored by Jeremy Ngaruiya and Samuel Bernardino, who added two more to his impressive tally for the day. The boys finished the tournament in 3rd place overall—a fantastic achievement! Their teamwork and dedication throughout the day were truly commendable.
