Hurricane Threatens Christmas in Somersfield Special Show

December 19, 2025 — A Devonshire school’s Christmas show imagines storm winds keeping pupils and staff behind on the last day of term before winter break.
Somersfield Academy presented I Need a Little Christmas Vacation this week as the disappointment of confinement by a freak hurricane gives way to a collective celebratory adventure.
The 40-minute production on Monday and Tuesday night opened with steel pan performances by students.
