Girls’ Basketball Team Shows Grit in Season Opener!
Please congratulate our girls on their outstanding first game of the season last night at the Somersfield "Thunder Dome". Although suffering a tough last minute 12-10 loss to MSA (last year's champions) the girls fought hard and played together as a team with just one practice, and for our M1s, the first game ever! Zarah Fahy led the way with 6 points for the Sharks.
Coach Kevin DeSilva voiced his total pleasure in their first effort of the year, "I was so pleasantly surprised at the attitude and desire by the girls. We are gonna be solid. Very teachable girls!"
