Somersfield Students Immerse Themselves in Bermuda Tech Day

In the ever-evolving landscape of technology, the students of Somersfield Academy's DP1 design class recently embarked on a journey into the heart of innovation at Bermuda Tech Day. The day kicked off with an array of thought-provoking discussions, covering diverse topics such as artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, NFTs, coding linked to genetics, human-centered design, and cybersecurity. The students were immersed in the rich tapestry of technological advancements that are shaping our world.

The highlight of the event was the keynote speech delivered by Dr. Carika Weldon, the Founder, CEO, and Director of Research at CariGenetics. Dr. Weldon's insights provided a visionary perspective on the intersection of genetics and technology, leaving the audience with a deeper understanding of the exciting possibilities that lie ahead.
