Dynamic Changes in Campus Staff and Facilities

Annie Philip – MYP Mathematics (work permit pending)
Nicole Ratteray – Primary Art teacher
Kim Rose – Global Politics and Theory of Knowledge
Lisa Sundgren – Lower Primary classroom teacher (pending immigration approval)
Music Educator (pending)
Upper Secondary Counsellor (pending)
Regrettably, Krystle Paulino, our Primary Art teacher, resigned over the summer. We extend our best wishes for her future endeavors. Fortunately, we were able to swiftly secure a replacement for the role.
Furthermore, Audrey Duncan, who was slated to be our IB Music Educator, is unable to take up the position due to health reasons. Currently, we are in the process of actively searching for a suitable replacement, with the goal of having a strong educator in place by the commencement of the school year.
Additionally, we are actively pursuing a counselor to provide valuable support to students ranging from M4 to DP2.

Facility Updates:
The facilities team has dedicated the summer to preparing staff and students for a successful year. Spaces have been thoroughly cleaned and freshly painted and numerous repairs made to the infrastructure.
Please see below for office updates:
The Music Department will continue to use a dedicated classroom, along with the portable cottage in the Children’s House area for the band program. This creates a dedicated practice space for music performance and opens the stage so it can be used regularly for assemblies, presentations, and arts performances.
The Interim DP Coordinator’s office is now on the top floor of the DP staff area, formerly the counsellor’s office.
The middle office in the DP staff area will be a bookable workspace for staff.
The Counsellor’s Office has moved to the MYP side of campus and is located on the top floor of the MYP building, formerly the IB coordinator’s office area.
The MYP Coordinator’s office is now located in the library, formerly the HR manager’s office area.
The Children’s House 3-year-old full day and Afterschool students will enjoy a freshly designed space in the lower level of the main building, previously the Kiskadee classroom.
The Finance office is now located in the old nap room adjacent to the principal’s office.
The old Finance office in the library is now to be used as a quiet study space for students along with the adjacent computer room.
The Marketing and Development office is now located on the top floor of the main building MB8.
Attached to the Marketing and Development office, is a dedicated private space to be used as a multi-faith, wellness and/or breastfeeding room.
The Admission’s Office is now located in the MYP building ground floor across from the common room.
