Traditions: Somersfield PTA’s Welcome Back BBQ

At Somersfield, the start of the school year isn’t just about fresh notebooks and new schedules, it’s about coming together as a community. Our annual Welcome Back BBQ has become a cherished tradition, marking the beginning of another year of growth, connection, and learning.

This year’s event was no exception. Families, students, and staff gathered on campus to enjoy great food, laughter, and plenty of catching up after the summer break. From old friends reconnecting to new families being warmly welcomed, the BBQ reminded us of what makes Somersfield so special: a strong sense of belonging.
