November 18, 2024—Somersfield Academy emerged victorious from a thrilling battle on the Netball Court, claiming the title in the first-ever Bermuda School Sports Federation Under 16 Netball Tournament. The Bernard's Park was buzzing with excitement as Somersfield showcased their skills and determination, finishing the round-robin tournament with an impressive 10 points.

Somersfield dominated the competition, winning three of their four matches with their only blemish being a hard-fought 12-12 draw against rivals Bermuda High School (BHS). BHS finished as runners-up with 8 points, while the Berkeley Institute secured a respectable third place with 7 points.

This inaugural tournament showcased the incredible talent and passion for netball among Bermuda's young athletes. Somersfield's victory marks a significant milestone for the school and sets the stage for future generations of Netball stars.
