Somersfield’s girls football team earned a confident 3–1 win at Victor Scott. After a tentative start, the team found their rhythm, shared goalkeeping duties, and took control of the match. Strong teamwork, growing confidence, and solid coaching made for an impressive performance.

Somersfield’s Primary football teams had a brilliant afternoon at Francis Patton, with the girls winning 5–1 and the boys sealing a 3–0 victory. Strong skills, smart teamwork, and great coaching made for an exciting day on the pitch. A fantastic effort from both teams.

Champions Again! Somersfield Retains Middle School Netball Crown
Somersfield are Middle School Netball Champions once again, claiming the title for the second year running. After a strong round robin, a confident semi-final win, and a 12-7 victory in the final, the team celebrated an outstanding performance and a well-earned championship.
Under 16s Triumph, Over 16s Rally in Hard-Fought Clash with Warwick
Somersfield’s Under 16s dominated Warwick with a 30–4 win, led by MVP Sydney Troake and MIP Emily Paulos. The Over 16s battled hard, delivering a strong second half despite a 13–21 loss, with standout performances from Paige and the defensive trio Riley, Dezirae and Heidi.
Somersfield Brownies Take Action for Our Coastline
Somersfield Brownies joined the First Devonshire/First Smiths Brownies and Rainbows for a coastal cleanup at Bailey’s Bay, gathering debris such as small plastic fragments, rope and fishing line. Thank you to Somersfield teacher and Brown Owl Ashley Phipps for guiding this meaningful environmental effort.
U13 Boys Continue an Impressive Football Season
Our U13 boys are having a brilliant season, winning every 11-a-side match so far. They narrowly exited the six-a-side semis 2-1 to Whitney after strong results against MSA, Warwick and Sandy's. Thank you to LB coaches Shon, Rychus and Cam for their outstanding support this season.
